Each Spring and Fall, Pack 754 heads out for a weekend of family camping fun! These campouts are open to the entire family and offer a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together. It’s a weekend full of adventure, bonding, and unforgettable memories for everyone.
Fall 2025 Campout
Please join us November 7th -9th at Cooper Lake State Park.
When: November 7th – 9th
Earliest check-in time: Friday November 7th at 3pm.
Latest check-out time: Sunday November 9th at 11am.
NOTE: Overnight stay is highly encouraged. 5th graders are required to stay overnight.
If you just want to stay one night, try to stay Saturday night, so your scout can participate in the smores and campfire.

How far is the drive: 1 hour and 30 minutes NE of Frisco
What type of camping is this: Tent camping. There are bathrooms and showers.
We have paid for and reserved 25 camp sites.
You can park your car at your campsite. There is a maximum of 8 people and 2 cars per campsite.
This campout is for scouts and their families only (no non-scout friends).

What will we do there: Cook together, Hike, Fish, play games, star gaze, explore, and relax.
We can fish within the state park (no fishing license required).
No swimming, No boating
Cost: You will pay only the daily fee of $5 per adult (and any teenager 13+).
For example if you have 2 adults attending and you are staying Friday night and Saturday
night, you would pay $20.
You will pay this at the park’s front office if you arrive between 8:15am and 4:45pm on Saturday.
If you arrive outside that timeframe, you must pay this by 9am Saturday morning.
[If you sold enough popcorn to have your camp fees reimbursed, these fees will be reimbursed after you pay them.]
There will be a parent meeting to further discuss the campout over Zoom on Tuesday October 21st.
